Facilities at Wonderland Day Nursery Wednesbury
Clever Cats
This room caters for children age 3.5 to 5 years. There are 2 spacious rooms which provide a home corner, maths area, music/listening station, messy play, sand, water, computer and a book/quiet area. The nursery is registered to deliver Nursery Education Funding (NEF) which entitles you to 15 hours of FREE childcare. (See nursery management team for further details) This unit also works towards the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum (EYFS). This curriculum is the same as a nursery school. Children will benefit from a higher staff to child ratio (8 children to 1 staff member).
Alice's Angels
These rooms cater for children age 3 to 3.5 years. They provide a range of play areas and activities that are aimed at promoting children's development. Children will have access to the messy play area, role play area, sand, water and construction. Again these rooms provide a warm and inviting atmosphere and cleanable floor surface to accommodate a range of activities.
Alice's Tots
These rooms cater for children age 2.5 to 3 years. They provide a range of play areas and activities that are aimed at promoting children's development. Children will have access to the messy play area, role play area, sand, water and construction. Again these rooms provide a warm and inviting atmosphere and cleanable floor surface to accommodate a range of activities.
Little Bunnies
This room caters for children from 2 to 2.5 years of age. It provides many play areas, including sand, water, role play, book/quiet area and plenty of space for physical play. The Little Bunnies room encourages children to develop their imagination and join in a range of activities including role play, construction, arts and crafts and promoting learning through play.
Queen's Cuties
This room caters for children from 6 weeks to 2 years old. It has a divided area for mobile and non-mobile babies, a separate sleep area and a separate changing area. We also have a separate milk kitchen available for preparing/storing babies milk feeds, a range of equipment is available including sterilizers, refrigerator and storage. Breast feeding is not discouraged and parents wishing to do so can make further arrangements with the nursery manager.
Little Wonders
This room can be used by children of all ages. It provides a warm and cosy atmosphere where children are able to access a range of different toys and activities at their will. The room provides a carpeted area and cleanable floor surface together with sand and water facilities, sensory area and physical equipment. This room also provides easy access to the children's bathroom/changing area.
