Our Mission Statement

About Wonderland Day Nursery Wednesbury

To provide a caring, clean, happy and relaxed environment. Children from all cultures will be invited, welcomed and respected. We encourage positive parent/carer relations to enhance children's development.
Recognise children's individual needs that tailor childcare and enables staff to plan for their individual successful development and that suits each child accordingly.
Our nursery staff recognise the importance of play and how this is an effective tool towards encouraging children to learn through play. Staffs follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework for children's early education.
To encourage a healthy and varied diet, with fresh fruit and vegetables. We also encourage children to experience foods from other cultures from around the world. All dietary requirements are catered for.
Encourage a modern, innovative view on all aspects of day care, in co-operation with our employees, parents/carers, other agencies and wider community.
To ensure that staff are happy within their role, by practising an open style of management and actively encouraging and supporting staff towards gaining further and higher qualifications.
Free play especially outside in the fresh air will be encouraged at opportunity. We have a large outdoor play area that is safe and secure, a shelter is provided for sunny/rainy days.
